A beautiful picture book of a mindful pregnancy and natural birth, told by a little girl, based on her family’s journey. It’s made to answer the curiosity of a little one who sees Mommy’s body and daily routine change throughout pregnancy, all the way to the birth of her little sibling in their safest place. Using simple words and beautiful illustrations, this book allows little-future-big-ones and their parents to enjoy it together while waiting for the baby to come out of Mommy’s belly.
Let’s align and nourish the mind, body, and heart with love, peace, and trust in the journey of welcoming a little one.

8 Reasons I’m Making This Picture Book
After the birth of my first child in a maternity hospital, I was left with a quiet ache—questions I couldn’t answer, a feeling that something was missing. I wasn’t fully informed, and I didn’t feel truly satisfied. So when I became pregnant again, my husband and I chose a different path. We began learning about childbirth deeply, side by side, as a team. The more we learned, the more our confidence grew. Then we chose our safest place on Earth to give birth—our home—where I feel more relaxed, supported, and loved. And as I prepared for that day, I wanted my eldest daughter to understand what was coming—to including her to the journey and to prepare her to be ready for her new role as a big sister. I searched for a picture book about mindful pregnancy and natural birth for children, but I couldn’t find one that aligned with what I was looking for. And so, this book began as a seed in my heart.
Our second baby was born peacefully at home, I became more sensitive to my inner voice, follow my intuition to begin a journey of self-discovery. It wasn’t easy—it felt like walking through a storm. But over time, the why behind so many life experiences came into focus, making the storm worth passing through. I realized that our subconscious mind, programmed through repetition and emotionally charged experiences especially in childhood, doesn’t just quietly affect what we believe—it strongly shapes how we experience life. In fact, science shows that about 95% of our thoughts, actions, and decisions come from the subconscious, while only 5% are directed by our conscious mind. So, I decided to become more conscious of my unconscious mind. The more I became conscious of my thoughts, actions, and feelings, the more clarity I gained about the reasons behind what I once saw only on the surface. I’ve learned to look deeper—to listen beyond words and see beneath the surface. And with that, rather than simply react, now I learn to pause, reflect and respond with love, peace and trust.
Science now confirms what many have always felt: the mind, body, and heart are deeply connected. And when it comes to birth, most of us carry stories filled with fear—stories passed down through films, television, and the voices around us. Stories that say birth is painful, dangerous, even traumatic.
But that’s not the only truth. There are also many stories of birth that are calm, gentle, and filled with joy. They exist—but are rarely shown. What makes the difference is the mind, body, and heart of the birthing person—how her subconscious mind has been programmed, and the environment that surrounds her. Both have a powerful impact on her experience. I believe the world needs more positive birth stories—especially for our children, so they grow up believing that birth is beautiful, natural, and even magical—something that can powerfully shape their own birthing experiences later in life, if they choose to have one.
This book is my contribution—a way to bring one of those quiet light, the gentle truths shining into the world. Through my passion for drawing, writing, and the wonder in children’s eyes, I hope this story helps families remember what’s possible. That birth can be beautiful. That our minds are powerful. That the stories we tell matter. And sometimes, the most meaningful change begins with a single book—nourishing the mind, opening the eyes, and filling the heart with love, peace, and trust in the journey, that allows the soul to heal and bloom, so a family can live together to thrive, not just to survive.
